Finally, Dell India will launch the new versions of the XPS line-up. Dell XPS 13 and XPS 15 will be launched by the company soon via an online event in the region. For the two computers, the laptop maker has already rolled out a new Amazon website.Although there is no mention of a launch date for the two laptops, the company sent out invitations to an event at 11:30 am on 8 July. This may be when they introduce the laptops in India.
The new Dell laptops are the flagships of the company, and are often pitched against another famous Apple manufacturer. The Windows laptops were already launched at prices in the US. The XPS 13 range begins at $999 (approximately Rs. 74,600). The XPS 15 is priced for the base model at $1,299 (around $97,000). Indian prices should be identical.
The new XPS laptops are supposed to come without any USB A ports, following the specification of the laptops that were launched in US. The manufacturer instead opted for USB Type C ports that have a superior transfer speed but still lack compatibility with most laptop accessories.
